We’ll talk about how to undo Colonial Impacts. We’ll learn about Tokenism and Commodification. We’ll look at the three A’s and what rolls they play in Allyship with Yourself. Etiquette for Allies (E4A) provides a roadmap for navigating the space between Intention and Impact. Within every moment, we can decide to disrupt or contribute to anti-Indigenous racism - if we can identify what it looks and sounds like. E4A spotlights harmful communications and the dominant cultural ideologies that continue them. E4A prepares you to plan for Indigenous Inclusion with awareness you can implement.

In Indigenous Cultural Safety, we’ll aim to understand bias and prejudice as states of pre-awareness that we have to opportunity to change with education and empathy. We’ll learn how our cultural protocols communicate our values and how learning about each other's protocols is the foundation of cultural safety.
